Future reprints of Prometheus Rising should have this printed on the inside cover.

What equipment/software do you use to draw this stuff?

Just a scanner, a mouse and photoshop. Outside of text and simple geometry it's all hand drawn then scanned and colored/edited in photoshop.
I also recycle a lot of my work. For example the only original art made for this picture was a single arm. : P

This is great, thank you.
Been getting into kubdalini yoga and learning the chakra stuff again. Something about mapping consciousness with the body makes sense. It's like a tattoo on the inside, probably the grossest way to describe that.
I love how you kind of open up these ideas by putting together different beliefs.

It's a lot easier than people make it out to be. Just focus in on whatever the mental exercise is for that particular nerve cluster while in
gnosis and imagine that you're breathing through a second mouth in that location just like you did with the third eye exercise.
I liken it to that feeling you get when your leg wakes up from "falling asleep" only you can move it all around your body just by thinking about it.
Activating certain combos causes all manner of bizarre glitches and wacky special effects.
It's like using a gameshark for your nervous system. XD

I love that analogy. There seems to be a lot of video game parallels.

It's just an illusion. Any subject could fit the mold because the human mind categorises everything under the same architectural constructs. Look too closely
at the "synchronicities" of the universe and everything will appear to be connected and drive you to madness.
I use technological analogies because that's a subject in which the modern generation has a deeper knowledge of the more complex underlying machinery.
Some use psychology for the few, some use mythological pantheons for the even fewer, some use geometry for the fewest, I use technology for the many.
I could liken it to Lt1-pcm flashing or spliceosomal RNA but nobody knows what the fuck that is. Everyone knows what a gameshark is.
I'm high as shit right now and just realised I went on a bumbling rant that has little or no value to you or anyone else but since I've put so much effort into writing this I'm going to press submit anyway. : P

Haha, trust me it has value to me. I've sent plenty of my drug induced rants to you.
I can't help but look at the weird connections, illusion or not. Think about ants. They follow a pheromone smell trail that gets stronger as more ants follow that path. We do the exact same thing with trails. We didn't invent trails, we probably just realized that heavily trafficked areas became easier to travel and move a lot of things through so we kind of started consciously doing it. I wonder if the ants think they are choosing to make those trails. Do they do it for their benefit or do they think of themselves as a collective?
People seem so quick to say they are hive mind or just completely devoted to "the queen" but we would look the same way if viewed from a distance. We would appear to work in perfect harmony. You have to zoom in to see the disharmony and confusion.

It's cool how all these different systems from different cultures and ages link together...
But two fav phrases of mine - "It is written on the endless constellations of the celestial heavens, on the depths of the emerald seas and upon every grain of sands in the vast deserts that the world which we see is an outward and visible dream of an inward and invisible reality..."
Or as Rumi put more simply; "Many voices, one song."
