Finally got legs, tail and head in a shot! When we had a sudden change in temps and the winds got harsh, this little guy stuck around not far from the barn for a couple of days. He seems to have vanished again, but gave me a few chances to capture him before he went off. I got this one peeking from my hay loft!Related content

We have a local fox for a while but seeing as I've not been around I've not seen her in ages - heard her and her mate in the night often enough though!

Excellent capture. So, how close can you actually get to tihs little guy?

The fox is pretty shy. I can get like 30 feet, but I'm in the hay loft for this shot, so he doesn't really see me. Can't get that close if he knows I'm there. Got a great sleeping pic when I crept up on him and got to like 20 ft, but then he woke and ran so fast! Made me feel quite guilty.
