Description So Log Horizon's been one of the newer animes I've been looking into. It's a pretty good series thus far, but if you've seen any of the .hack series (or Sword Art Online and Accel World) then you pretty much know what you're getting into.

Though it seems to be implied that the characters have been transported to the latest online gaming sensation "Elder Tale" as opposed to being stuck in a coma in the Real World.

There doesn't appear to be a main antagonist yet (I'm only on episode five as I type), but the rag tag group of protagonists have dealt with in game monsters and a rogue guild that liked to harass the confused, trapped players.

All the characters are pretty fun and have their quirks, Akatski for example is an assassin with superb ninja skills, a calm demeanor, but a no-nonsense attitude for the more hair-brained characters like the knight Nao. She's also attracted to the main protagonist Shiroe, but no real surprise there. They're cute and I ship them anyway.

So as with some earlier ideas such as Fractale Zone (which I plan to finish, I'm still stuck on a certain part though...), I started wondering how the Digimon would get attracted to Log Horizon Zone. Without knowing what the "main antagonist" of Log Horizon is, I don't want to jump the gun to say "a Digimon did it" though one could have had a role in whatever's happened. Piedmon came to mind, though more of a wandering foe that the Zoners and Shiroe's group would run into occasionally. Selector (Uno, Dos, Tres and Numemon) could even show up as well, probably trying to set up a guild, but failing miserably.

Most Digimon may just appear as common monsters (RedVeggiemon, Troopmon, Snimon), some taking the place of ingame monsters (Chuumon/Rat-Men, Griffomon/HippoGriffomon/Griffons, Goblimon/Orcs, etc.) while some may associate with guilds which after a lengthy explanation brings us to the nature of this drawing.

Perhaps Akatski would attract followers (a running gag in the anime is her amassing a small fanbase, but she's very uncomfortable about it) in the form of Ninjamon and Falcomon, but doesn't appear interested in taking on apprentices. Some battles later, Akatski starts to acknowledge their loyalty and worth and allows them to follow her becoming her Partners.

Shiroe might have a Wormmon (based on a conversation with a work friend), who can Digivolve to Searchmon and aid him in his strategies.

Knightmon and Damemon were other Digimon considered as party members, maybe for Nao.

Dan, Kristi, Keely and Ray were considered as the Zoners who visit this place mostly because the latter are kind of RPG oriented (Kristi/Gladimon=Knight, Keely/Wizarmon=Magic, Ray/Dinomon=Warrior/Dragon).
