The Digimon Anniversary Project has been underway for a little while now, with the special minisodes having been released (and fansubbed) to general good will by fans. The more interesting part of it was the creation of five new Digimon by fans as part of the backing of the project. On top of getting to talk to Kenji Watanabe to discuss the specifics, they'd also get a one shot doll of their Digimon.

One such Digimon is Rurimon, a little blue Digimon that seems to fancy itself a dragon mage. His creation is kinda funny in that his creator, overwhelmed by getting to talk to Watanabe, blurted out he liked the color blue and Agumon. Watanabe used that as a basis, but added the satchel and spell book so he wasn't just an Agumon recolor, lol. Fans don't seem as excited for this one admittedly, but I think he's awesome.

While I'm not super sure if I want to include all these Digimon as specific allies in Zone, I did at least tinker with Rurimon potentially being one, based on an earlier traveling scribe idea I had. I thought it'd be funny if Atamadekachimon was his steed, being tucked away safe and sound from predatory Digimon inside the dinosaur's head.
