Description Nostalgia on the brain leads to a Metabee Boppin'.

Bought the Medabots first season DVD at the bargin store, Ollies', a while back for 2 bucks and have been watching it in my spare time.

Oh, the good old days! Naturally, something kicked in th' noggin and this pilot comic for a hypothetical third series came to mind in about... 15 seconds.

Why Metabee isn't in his Medabot Spirits (the second series) body? Eh, after rereading some initial disgust at the second series, in a rare moment of fan pleasing, I went with the original body type as that's the most recognizable (and easiest to draw).

The only annoying thing about this is that there aren't many great models of Medabots to refer to. :<

I wouldn't have minded the second series body, but still, this is great! I hope they plan to bring the series back sometime, especially since they did that DS game last year. I mean, Beyblade got a revamp...and Digimon. OuO
...wait, wait, Medabee's second season body is actually "Saikachis", but they call him Medabee anyways. So, I suppose he just changed the parts back. ouo

That would be pretty neat if they did! I hear Medabots still has some popularity left in Japan, so I guess whatever animation team wants to give it a go..!

I had heard that too. Pry felt there was no reason to 'change' his name in the show... Although Spyke did refer to Cyandog as Krosserdog after he changed bodies... Oh well.
