Rashed and Blue Jacket were on the verge of being killed by a man in black robes claiming to be the savior of the living. The man had beaten Rashed near to death and Blue Jacket was running low on Elixirs. Anubis stood helplessly at she watched her twin brother being beaten for answers of her where abouts. Then a vision struck her mind of a an old black human-like Jackal in ancient Egyptian clothes telling her to use this gift for good and not to surrender to what superstition the Man in Black follows. When the vision ended, Anubis embraced the power of The true Anubis. Her luscious brown skin darkened and started growing dark grey fur. Her face cracked and morphed into a beast of rage. Her feet grew large and wide turning into the legs of a jackal. The transformation was complete. Anubis became the embodiment of the curse the city once feared. She attacked the man in black with back lash fury. when she crawled the man's robe off it revealed that he was actually a Dark Sphinx that pledge 1000 years ago to the off springs of the original Anubis to end the blood line. The Dark Sphinx flew away claiming it shall return for all three of their heads. Anubis Changed back to her normal form tired, sweaty, and nude. She claimed she'll be ready when he appears again.
