I remember when I was a kid (during the Gold & Silver years) and designed 3 Eevee evolutions based on the stones that were excluded in its evolution choices (Leaf, Moon, and Sun Stone). A younger friend and I disagreed about the name for the Leaf evolution; he actually insisted "Leafeon" (it does have a nice basic touch to it), but I insisted on "Floreon" (seeing how the first three had rather fancy-sounding names: Vapor instead of Water, Jolt instead of Thunder, and Flare instead of Fire). We compromised by trying to combine our 2 names together in a way that blended well.
