trying out a bit of underwater abstract goodness... playing around with new techniques and new ideas...render in c4d took 23 hours and 22 minutes, it was just plain black and white abstract shape on a black background, after that about 4-5 hours of work in photoshopCS brushing background, brushing lighting, typo, 2d, etc... oh yeah the bubbles were made with a bubble brush i made from one of the bubbles on +ekud's piece "BUBBLE", used with permission from him
done over a period of 3 days, and yeah, as usual full view is a must, seeking constructive critisism

it's amazing and very pretty.
I'm not a abstract profesional at all but I can tell you that at some parts, it does not really look 3d-ish. Though the bottom is very well done. The bubbles and reflections are nice too.

thats good work on the bubbles, nice effect.
the 3d is too simple and generic though, and the whole overlapping thing does nothing for me at all.
try and develop some depth and complexity in the image overall before worrying about effects like bubbles.

i dont believe inj saying 'omg thats amazing' unless i honestly cant think of a way to improve the image.

thats because they are popularity whores, they make the art for fame not for themselves and in that way cant take on critisism positively... its good your giving constructive crit, even if only a few appreciate it
