Ben only needs the one right alien to handle a mass quantity of animals. Way Big could handle anything Beast Boy turns into. But if he had master control, then he could easily switch aliens to a certain type to handle any animal Beast Boy becomes.
Four Arms and Diamondhead could handle a Gorilla, Bear, Elephant, or Lion
Waybig against a whale or T-Rex
XLR8 for animals with quick speed like a cheetah
Stinkfly could handle anything any bird or Pterodactyl
Large majority of Ben's other aliens could handle his other forms

Beast Boy. he has more experience, more maturity in a fight (if he gets down to it) and a far better handling of his abilities.
Seriously, his Transforming powers are limitless and can adapt into ANYTHING, including the aliens that Ben can turn into. With all that statistics in mind, it aint much of a contest in this match-up.

AlienX is only meant to resore a disorientated Universe & is NOT meant to fight wars & is only controled by 3 people that make the decision to use the lifeform.
Ben cannot use AlienX when he wants to so randomly. Not sure why people bring that into topic at every VS discussion. Its like saying Goku can beat Superman cuz he's "Macroversal". Who the heck said that, I wonder..?

Oh. That version. Well, despite his emotional immaturity, I'd say Beast Boy takes the slot.
The other two beings in charge of AlienX wouldn't give in to a child's need of heroic competition, let alone abuse that form just for a simple fight.
Also, as I stated earlier, Ben is ONLY powered by a measly watch that doesn't seem to correspond to his command all the time, leaving him sideswiped with embarrassing results. Beast Boy is not underwhelmed by those limitations as his ability is natural to him, giving him YEARS to perfect his skills & techniques along with his longevity & LIMITLESS potential at his command!
Gar is much older & just has too much expertise in handling multi-dimensional threats, be it by himself or his cohorts.
And... yes... BB can in fact TF into most, if not, all of Ben's Alien forms PLUS all the thousands of varied Monsters, Extra-Terrestrial's and of course, Demons from HELL!
Gar has been with too many people on his team to already learn from their tactics & strategy and when Gar see's an opening, he's gonna use any form of any size great or humongous to do the job.
Heck, if he figures out what that little button thingy on Ben's watch does, he might be curious to swing around silent as a moth & push it.

I did watch Omniverse. Ben still has limits bounded by the watch whereas BB has no limits in his TFs. Plus, he automatically has an encyclopedia of ALL animals & aliens he becomes whereas Ben had to learn along the way. When BB becomes a new creature he immediately gains access to all their strength & weaknesses and would easily counter-act with any alien Ben turns into.
You don't read as many Beast Boy comics as I have, huh? Seriously, Gar has been known to eat other shapeshifters for breakfast & Benny is just one more to the list.
Oh yeah... Bringing Ben10,000 into the mix is only setting yourself up for disappointment as BB now has access to ALL other aliens that Ben has in his library & would also use those forms to counter-act with other ones again.

Beast Boy may hold the advantage in evasivness and variety in his transformations, but Ben holds the advantage in every other category.Β Another big factor in this battle was whose transformations were the strongest.Β When comparing speed, Beast Boyβs fastest animal form would be the Cheetah, clocking in at around 68 to 75 km per hour.Β Which is nothing when you remember that XLR8 can easily go hypersonic speeds! In strength, Beast Boyβs Blue Whale form can easily send a boat flying. However, Way Big can lift over a BILLION TONS.Β Ben also exceeds in intelligence with Grey Matter. While Beast Boy would be able to mimic Ben's animal alien forms, he would not be able copy the humanoid ones like Way Big, Heatblast and Diamondhead.
