The phanto's scared me as a kid...My eyes would occasionally drift to the ones in the background of Wart's room, just waiting for them to come to life, even if I knew they wouldn't.

Phantos come to life as soon as you pick up a key andΒ  chase you until you drop it. Unless you use a glitch I'm pretty sure there is no way to kill them, but they can kill you

I admit I'm used to the All Stars kinda remake for the Super Nintendo, not the one for the NES. If you ever get a chance to play it, I highly recommend it. Some people are mixed on it as it has some different mechanics (riding enemies and throwing them for one) but I personally love it, and the bosses are very creative!

Dear goodness I HATED those things. When I was little I called them "Voltorbs" because they reminded me of the Pokemon with the same name.
