This drawing is HUUUUGE. It took a long time.first place prize for
She wanted a nice forest scene, So I thought it be something like relaxing and peaceful. This really doesn't look like a forest, more like a field with trees. Didn't come out too well in that area :/ I like the trees but not how they are placed in the ground...argh
I'm really pleased with Kitt though ^^ I hope I got her right xD
Edit* I forget the brown on the top part of her mouth, arrgh
I should have done this like several months ago, but I guess the saying holds true...you can't rush art. If it's not a saying it is now! xD

Oh hai! Yeah, I did this on Microsoft paint on the old gem computer at the time. I say my most important trick when I did something like this is to draw BIG. BIG BIG BIG BIG! You can add a TON of detail that way! Second is I'd have another file for drawing little things like grass, rocks, mushrooms etc and then adding them in later, like a layer. I could fiddle around and decide if I wanted them and where to put them exactly 
Third, since most of the time the drawing was so big I couldn't see it at a distance, I'd click the picture in the documents folder and have it behind while I drew. So If I wanted to see how it looked clearly, I'd save changes, then click the document behind to check it out.
Wow, here I go on this ramble when you didn't even ask for it lmao! I just saw that you fav'd the tutorial I made, and those 3 things above are among my top techniques to help me out when I drew on the program

I have to admit, I got a bit lazy with the sand-dirt, I could have done better but I was getting a bit edgy and impatient, plus I still had to do the detail on kitt :3

;First, I love how you did the forest idea, I think it looks great like this, like the edge of a forest, in dawn, it looks so peaceful and pretty!
The tree's are almost looking realistic, it's so cool, I think it took forever to make them but the result is worth it!
I love how you drew Kitt, it's how I see her, you understand her well
I love the overall background, the rocks look so good (you have even still relief of the rock in the shadow that kitt's back paw is making!)
And you put so much effort in the details! I can spot thousands of them, I hope other people will notice them to, like the little mushroom, the green on the sand, and the brilliant shadow details
How you make this with ms paint is amazing, I think that with almost every drawing you make but this is definitly one of your best!
I wish I could at this to my favs 1000 times!
