Description My first attempts at making leather journals, using Medieval limpbinding (using longstitch and kettle stitch). These were made as Christmas gifts.

Clockwise from top left:
- A4 size art journal with flap closure and metal peacock feather detail
- Side view of art journal, long-stitch binding, 120gsm sketch paper
- Side view of A5 journal, 120gsm sketch paper, leather attached book mark with metal charm
- Side view of A6 journal/notebook, consisting of 3 signatures, made with 80gsm paper
- Front view of A6 journal showing flap closure
- View of all three journals
- Front view of A5 journal showing flap closure with four-strand braid 'belt' with a metal charm

Yes, they're very beautiful. But I think they make really fun presents, too.
