Description
Cover illustration for a kid's menu design! For a made-up breakfast joint called Quick Fix. Their mascot is a fox so obsessed with breakfast, he travels around the world constantly so he can be wherever itβs morning. This is a very unhealthy lifestyle, donβt try this at home kidsI wasn't sure how to approach something like this at first, since I've never drawn anything with specifically kids as a target audience. But after looking at Herge's TinTin illustrations, it all worked out. Besides...breakfast foods are really cute.
I'll post the interior and back pages together later, but this one holds up pretty well on its own. 8D

that is the BEST lifestyle, though i would question the use of a balloon as a method of conveyance... I sincerely doubt it would be able to maintain the necessary velocity required to synchronise with the Earth's rotational speed as to perpetuate a state of breakfasting.
i love the earthy browns and oranges that both creates the old timey sepia effect and gives an indication of the style and atmosphere of this particular restaurant. though it be fictional, I am certain I would enjoy starting my days there. (and ending them at a particular bar...)

HAHA you're absolutely right, but the balloon is just for travelling in the city! He actually has a bluejay pilot friend fly him around, which you'll see when I post the interior pages. ;D
