Here's a gathering of some watercolors I've been happy with, but are too boring to post by themselves. Clockwise from left: anniversary roses, a photo I took on the bus in Lucerne, local beach scenes, the stairs at LCAD.

Agh thanks very much. I'm especially so glad you feel like the movement in the water comes through, it's the hardest thing to keep the liveliness while still adding depth and color!

wow, these are stunning! they have that real photo-like quality whilst retaining that lovely soft water-colour feel to them. i like the green rolling hills, and the two at the bottom too. They make me long for quiet summer days by the sea.

Thanks so much! Ah yeah even though those last two aren't my favorite result-wise, making them was great. Painting by the sea is the best, so peaceful.

Auuuugh these are just insane, ohmygosh!!! Your colors and contrast are just incredible--are these just watercolors you did yourself for fun, or part of a class or something??? Teach me your ways!! ;-;

Cold press, 400 weight Arches yep yep. I didn't do any sketching, but I did do some thumbnails beforehand. Mostly because these were all done on site--if I had been spending more time on them I probably would've bothered with a sketch.
