on the first day of school there was a very red sun, and i'm not sure whether to think of it as some sort of sign, good or bad. the band-aid is real. and the colors don't seem to have shown up very well on the sticky note. shit.finished: 9/2

oh, and about the red sun.
when I was in first grade, there was a forest fire in Quebec, and the smoke went all the way to where I was (halifax) and the whole sky was like red because of it... I remember it got really dark, at around 1pm all teh sudden... and we all looked out the windows in amazement... all the streetlights were on, and were reddish.... it was nuts... very cool though, I'll always remember it, even know I was in grade 1... it lasted a few hours... into the night... than the next day was normal again.

It feels like the saturation was cranked up way too high, but the only place that bothers me is on the band-aid. The band-aid is a weird, non-band-aid-y colour, and the "blood" seems way too bright.
Great composition, and really interesting to look at. Inspiring, really.
