PROPERTY OF THE ELSINORE THEATRE:I'm simply acting as historian and advertiser (go to the Elsinore, it's cool!).
This is part of a stained glass window in the Historic Elsinore Theatre in Salem, Oregon. The woman is Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare's Macbeth. My friend Allison let me in the theatre on one of the days they weren't having a show and allowed me to run amuck with my camera. I had fun taking pictures of the theatre because it's a beautiful and enchanting place, but I want to make it clear that I had nothing to do with the production of this window or any of the theatre and it does not belong to me. Therefore, it is not my permission you need to re-post this, but the theatre manager's.

Oh, wow, this is beautiful. The colors are great, and you really captured the... the light, the soft quality that stained glass has.

Macbeth is my favorite Shakespeare play (at the moment, anyway ^^), and this is simply beautiful.

Thanks. There are lots of stained glass windows in the Elsinore and I'm not really sure why I only took close ups of two of them. If Allison lets me run around again I will probably do more like that.

It is really cool. I've seen three shows there so far and they were all really good too. In a sec I'm going to put up more pictures where you can see more of the theater itself.
