Description
I've been sitting on this for over a year now, but I haven't fully developed the concept yet and wanted to showcase the character off.
Since last year I've been expanding my Ellowwood setting, mostly to use in the tabletop space. Although I've stopped large-scale writing since September, I've been dabbling in various character sheets, artworks and concepts all the time. The hope is to conglomerate it into some fiction, RPG guides and visuals to go along with both.
Without too much spoiling, I present Roseanne! A waitress at a restaurant in Ellowwood, she's a playable pregen character for pick-up-play, or can be used as an NPC. Storywise, I have no plans for her as yet; but she does leave the modern world to get away from it all.
I sometimes provide characters to buddies to help 'round them out', whether it's to give them numbers or details. My typical two buddies on speed-dial came up with these traits:
- Roseanne has a ghetto, Southern sass with her mannerisms.
- Despite her waitress job, she crochets as a hobby. The town rumors she has hundreds of dollars worth of yarn stored somewhere.
- She's a good helping hand. She lacks in talking her way out of sticky situations, but has a fairly good sense if you're tricking her.
- Don't be fooled with her hefty frame and big skirts, she pretty good at getting out of the way and dodging danger.
- She's the only character that being committee built, was given some sort of points towards Disguise.
When I move along with my project, you can be certain you'll see more of her when the time comes.
