Description
A lot of people didn't like Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest back when it came out, but I always liked it the best, and I still do. Yes, it was hard to get very far in it without Nintendo Power or your friends at school telling you what to do, but it was one of the first Nintendo games I played where you had the freedom to go in other directions besides to the right. Plus the creepy areas and music immersed me into it.

Not to mention that my favorite monster has always been a Werewolf, and this game was also where I first encountered one in Nintendo form. And very early on.

The only experience with Simon's Quest that truly disappointed me as a kid was when I was given the Tiger brand LCD wristwatch/game that had a Simon's Quest theme. It looked great, but the ""game"" was cheaply made. I still have it though.
