christian. It's not called that, I just can't translate. when we were younger we had to learn about christianity (except those who aren't christian, their parents could withhold them from those classes) and our teacher was a b*tch

Aaaah...We had the same here. But that was...kinda like theology class. And we were taught theology by our local priest. A few of people from other religion or atheists didn't go to theology classes. All those classes led to us recieving...that thing after christening and that other thing after it (sorry, don't know how to say that in English).
But...lately I'm of opinion that schools should have Religion classes or something like that, where they would teach about ALL religions, not just Christianity.

Ah, confirmation. Why is it called a confirmation??
Yeah. If we learned of religions since, say age 9, maybe there would be less racism. In Slovenia we have a lot of different religions. Christians, Muslims, Orthodox Christians (ya know, like Russians), even some Anglicans. Some of them are also atheists, and I think I read about one village where all of the people are pagans...
And there is a lot of violence between children, just because we are other nationality or religion (I myself come from Croatia, am raised as a Christian but in my heart I'm and atheist).

a) because you're confirming your faith
b) agreed
c)Yes, that's awful. I'm christian and believe strongly, but I can respect other peoples' beliefs because one of my friends was Muslim and two others buddist.

And I can respect other people's religion, too. My grandmother - she's very religious. And she would like for me to be religious, too, but... I cannot. I lost my faith. I was thinking of signing out of Chruch, but I'll leave that tought to rest a bit.
My godparents, on the other hand, are orthodox. They have Chrsitmas 5 days after our New year.
So basically...We 'celebrate' Christmas and new year twice... ours (or Christian) and my godparents'
So, I'm a bit more tolerant to other people. I really don't care if you're...black, white, green or blue. I will treat you the same as you treat me (ummm...my childhood was not excactly happy. I was physically, mentally and verbally abused by my schoolmates).
