A young man who is the first gym leader of his hometown, Luminose City, a city that bursts with bright colorful lights, and glowing lamps along the path. Remi is a DJ, who loves to entertain the people of his city through disco parties and Gym Battles. When you enter his gym, you must jump through lasers across the dance floor. They don't hurt you, but if you touch them, you are sent back to the start. On the way, there will be two trainers to battle you. After the gym puzzle, you meet Remi, who immediately wants to battle you. He takes it seriously though, so it wont be easy! When he sends out his Pokemon, the electric current from his DJ Turntable creates an Electric Terrain, which boosts Electric type moves.

After you beat him, he will give you the static badge, and the TM for Charge Beam.
