The 'Best' of Transformers Comic-Magazin was a fanzine distributed free at this year's Auto Assembly convention, uploaded in PDF form for everyone to enjoy. Just click the download button on the right to download itThis fanzine is a collection of translated prose stories from the official German Transformers 'Comic-Magazin' published in the late 80s and early 90s. These form an exciting if bizarre 'forgotton' canon and are at the very least entertaining reading.
Where do the Classic Pretenders really come from?

I'd just like to ask though, are there scans of the Comic-Magazin anywhere? A fair few of the wiki pages are still stubs and all the rest don't have pictures for all of the crazy/interesting things mentioned.

I can upload a 200MB pack of scans, all the interesting stuff should be up on the wiki, the pages for most of the issues are quite comprehensive (I should know, I wrote most of them!)

Oh wow...just wow!!!!
I still have one issue of this somewhere, some German tourists left it behind at my grandma's back in the day ('90 or '91, I believe)....and it was my first TF-comic ever! 
Went through this quickly, seems like I have the issue with "Megatron's Ultimatum" and "Save Nevada Alpha" in it, hehheh
This was a very significant milestone in my life - I DESPERATELY wanted to read it, so I took a German dictionary from the library and transcribed the WHOLE book in a notebook, word for word, and then re-arranged every sentence again in another notebook so they could make sense.......needles to mention, I learned a great deal about the language
