Been pondering over doing a series of story comics for Don’t Starve.

It would be a mix of having an over arching story (The events of Don’t Starve that lead into Don’t Starve Together) and self contained mini stories that would be connected to that over arching story.

One of the ideas I’m very interested in is Wilson and Webber having a father and son relationship. Wilson, having heard what happened to Webber before he had entered The Constant, makes it a goal to be a better father figure for him and to hopefully one day help him change back to normal. He never really pictured himself being such a figure to anyone but for Webber’s sake, he’s willing to try. Though The Constant is certainly not going to make it easy.

And yeah. So this is one of the ideas I plan to implement for this comic idea. I know I said I wasn’t really planning on telling any new stories for Don’t Starve buuuut with new lore in mind, I have new material to work with and don’t have to fill in the blanks as much when Storm and I wrote Survive the Shadows. It would be a whole new adventure and I wouldn’t feel like I’m telling a story I’ve already told. (Which was the main reason at first why I thought I wouldn’t venture down story telling again for this franchise but looks like there is a way to avoid that, so yay.)

So... if you’re interested, let me know.

Either way, keep an eye out cause hey... it could come at any time.
