Your use of light and shade has always been impressive- but this time you've really outdone yourself- it's fantastic! I love the soft, glowing gold of the candles and you've really used it to enhance the folds and creases in the clothing, curtains and tablecloth- great piece!

Awesome illustration, it looks like a scene for an illustrated fairy tale book. You created a very good atmosphere with the warm light and shadows, hah so pretty! I remember I drew a similar scene some years ago and it looked just aweful, haha.

I can imagine very well! Lighting is a very tricky thing and I am amazed by all who can capture such a beautiful atmosphere just with colors.

So beautiful, I love your warm colour sceme of browns and golds, and the way you painted the folds adds so much motion, especially around the candle on the desk, your lighting is absolutely beautiful for this picture and I love how Blair is holding up the candle (the girl is Blair right)
