I looked up "generic" because it is the opposite of what most people want their art to be. I think that's why people like this; because it is somewhat of a paradox.

Clever! Yeah, I've done quite a few haikus myself, and sometimes the just arn't that great. Putting something into a limited form doesn't automaitcally make it better.
