You know what really grinds my gears? People underestimating or Flanderizing these characters on how powerful they are because of how they act

Here’s what I mean, it seems that just because of their personalities, Steven, Izuko, and maybe Charlie, are often flanderized or underestimated by people, whether they are fans or not.

Like Steven being portrayed as some kind of wimp who cries and begs for his enemies to change whenever he’s in a fight with some people, when of course that’s not true, if anything Steven is someone who sometimes looks into the good of anyone and even he pretty much knows that his kindness have limits, he puts himself in front of people for their safety and not afraid to put his life on the line, he’ll only try to redeem people as a last resort, just because he doesn’t want to fight doesn’t mean he won’t, his younger self would probably give some the benefit of the doubt, but his current stuff would be on edge enough to know when aomethingisn’t right and feels it’s out of his league when it comes to redemption. Like look how he behaved when he saw one glimpse of Bluebird and realized that’s both Aquamarine and Eyeball.

Now Deku, is sort of on a similar boat, well some people say that he’s privileged, let’s not forget that he was born in the minority of society that is born without powers or Quirks as the MHA Universe calls them. Deku earned his Idol’s respect to make him worthy of the quirk know as “One For All”. Then he worked hard as heck to get that power, where is the privilege? Because he was given the power? Yeah so was everyone else through their parents. People get on him for being emotional, he doesn’t even cry no more, everyone in the room could be crying and he’s not, he will get back in a fight using only his tongue and everything else is broken, but they’ll still call him a b****. Then, they seem to have the gall, to still talk crap but say he’s cold as soon as the Vigilante Arc started, it’s like that quote from Cronenburg Jerry in Season 6 of Rick and Morty. “Oh, am I cool enough for you now? Oh that was easy. It only costed me f***ing everything.” I swear with the first 2 including Izuku, people forget what it is to be human.

Now Charlie Morningstar, I’m not sure but all I know is that she seems to be put on a hate list because she’s “too nice”, okay but why would that be an issue? I mean from what I saw in the Hazbin Hotel Pilot, she doesn’t seem to be a pushover, all she’s trying to do is open a hotel to redeem some sinners because she cares, and we don’t know the full extent of her powers but she’s the Princess of Hell, literally. She’s also the daughter of Lucifer, and he and her daughter are pretty much ranked above everyone, the Overlords including Alastor as far as I know, so she’s probably more powerful than him or anyone that’s given her credit for.
