This one came to me a few months ago when my Catholic roommate was observing Lent. We were chatting about a fantasy book we'd both read recently, and...ta-da.Sketch pad and mechanical pencil. I plan to shove him through Photoshop sometime soon.
What I have learned from this: Accessorize! Lots of funky little details make the thing look so much cooler. Pity I usually suck at that...

Yep, I know! It looks a bit embarrassing. It was a small sketch tablet and I ran out of page space, I'm afraid. I'm fixing that in the colored version.
