I don't see her as a tomboy at all, I see her as a normal girl. She's not particularly girly like the Aphrodite girls but she's nowhere near as tomboyish as the Ares girls. She's just normal, in a good way. All girls like to feel pretty sometimes .

I don't know about that. Annabeth is more practical than other girls. Slaying monsters and wearing sundresses don't exactly mix. Also, a girl can feel pretty without wearing a dress and tomboys are just as normal as any other girl. I act like a tomboy most of the time, one of my best friends is such a tomboy that we (me and the rest of my friends) like to call her an honorary boy. That doesn't mean that we aren't normal, it just means we don't like dresses or fashion or going to the mall on a daily basis.

I'm not saying she would wear sundresses when fighting, lol, just sometimes on a normal day . I'm very girly myself but I know plenty of girls less girly than me who dress up too. I don't see Annabeth as girly but not as a tomboy either. We just have different views of her.

If you are a demigod who attracts monsters on a daily basis, you have to be practical. Annabeth does not know when she'll be attacked by monsters or if she will have to fight. There really isn't such thing as a "normal" day for her.

I don't think wearing a sundress is big freaking deal, apparently you do. We view the character differently and neither of us is going to be able to change the other's mind.
