Description

Michelangelo woke with a start and sat up in his bed panting heavily. He checked the clock, it was two in the morning, and then flopped his head back onto his pillow. The dream, no, nightmare he had felt so real he couldn't bring himself back to sleep. He had a nightmare that you were captured by Razar and he and his brothers were trying to save you but unfortunately it was too late. Michelangelo knew that nightmares weren't real but this one felt real to him. Michelangelo has had a huge crush on you for a long time but he couldn't bring himself to tell you. He'd thought about it many times and he would end up getting cold feet each time. The thought of you getting hurt or worse was something he couldn't bear. Unable to go back to sleep, he got up, put his orange ninja mask on, and quietly left his room toward the lair exit. He opened the manhole cover and ran down the street toward your place. The orange clad turtle scaled up the fire escape until he reached your bedroom window and peaked inside. There you were sleeping soundly underneath your (fav. color) blankets.

Michelangelo sighed in relief. 'Good, she's safe,' he thought.

Of course he was happy you're alright but he wanted to really make sure for himself. He tapped the glass until you stirred. You woke up, turned yourself toward the window, and saw the orange clad turtle motioning you to open the window. You got out of bed, walked toward the window, and opened it for him. The slight chill of the night air that came into your room made you shiver a little. Michelangelo carefully came inside your room and then you closed the window.

"Mikey, what brings you here?" You yawned.

He hesitated, "I-I just wanted to make sure you're ok."

You were puzzled, "Why wouldn't I be ok?"

"Because...," His eyes began to water.

"Mikey, what's wrong?" You asked concerned.

Instead of answering your question, he threw his arms around you and quietly cried on your shoulder. You were surprised by this, it wasn't like him to be this upset. You ushered him over to the side of your bed and you both sat down. Michelangelo still held on to you like you were going to disappear if he were to let you go. You carefully wrapped your arms around him and patted his back.

"Mikey calm down," you cooed softly, "Just take a few deep breaths and tell me what's bothering you."

Michelangelo took in a few deep breaths before he spoke, "I...I had a nightmare...a-and you were in it."

"What happened?"

Michelangelo's body trembled, "Y-you were captured by Razar and m-my brothers and I were looking for you. When we got there, Razar struck you with his claws, and then you...you...I couldn't save you." He buried his face into your shoulder and cried softly.

"Oh Mikey," you held him close. You started to rock him gently, he continued to sob for a couple minutes until he finally calmed down.

"Listen, I'm alright, nothing bad is going to happen to me, and if it does happen I know you and your brothers will come through like you always do," you whispered.

"______?"

"Yes?"

"I-I love you," Michelangelo said just above a whisper. Your heart immediately skipped a beat. He still had you in his arms but he couldn't bring himself to face you fearing you'll reject him. What he didn't know was that you felt the same way about him.

"Mikey, I love you too," you replied.

The orange clad turtle looked up at you with his eyes still watery but they showed joy. Then Michelangelo pulled you in closer and pressed his lips against yours. Your eyes closed as you gently wrapped your arms around him and returned the kiss. The kiss continued a bit longer as you two deepened it a little more. You slowly pulled away and rested your forehead on his while you looked into his baby blue eyes. The two of you stayed like that for a few more minutes until you noticed how late it really was.

"It's getting late, I'd better some sleep," you said with a small yawn.

"Yeah, you're right," Michelangelo said as he slowly got off your bed.

You got back under the covers and you were about to lay down when you noticed the orange clad turtle was still here. Michelangelo was nervously scratching the back of his neck.

You tilted your head slightly, "What is it Mikey?"

"If it's alright with you, c-can I stay here, just for tonight?"

You thought about it for a moment, "Yeah if that'll make you feel better, but make sure you get up before six 'clock I don't think my parents will like the idea of a human sized turtle sleeping in my bed."

Michelangelo smiled, he got into bed and snuggled up right beside you so he was face to face with you. He wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to his chest. You wiggled around a bit until you got comfortable.

"Comfy?"

"Yep," Michelangelo smiled.

You rested your head on your pillow and waited for sleep to overtake you. Before you could fall asleep, Michelangelo nuzzled you until you opened your (color) eyes.

"Hey ______," Michelangelo whispered.

"Hmm?"

"I just want to let you know that no matter what, I promise nothing bad will happen to you while I'm here."

You smiled and gave him a kiss on the nose, "Good night Mikey."

"Good night ______."
