Ta-daaah! Bluey isn't dead!
No, I'm not dead and I might actually start uploading more often than once per month. I have a thesis to write and a job to find, so... you know. Everything suddenly became more interesting than that. |'D

Anyway, I like the post-transformation design of reformed changelings. It's neat, colorful and kinda... symbolic ^^ But I was wondering how much of the general change was the color itself (and cheese legs). That burst of rainbows is very different from what changelings used to look like, but the shapes of their bodies haven't changed so much. So I made a little comparison.

When we take away the happy colors and add holes in the "new" changelings' legs, it becomes clear that what really changed in the design was mostly the shape of the muzzle and ears, glossy eyes, longer neck part and tail. The new design has no mane or fangs, and wings are not visible while not in use. The rest remains practically unchanged, but the overall effect still looks more rounded and friendly.

I did the colorful part just for fun, I know it looks dreadful. |'D That's one of the keys when creating an OC. Even if you have a neat color palette, it still has to fit the character in some way and the colors need to be placed thoughtfully. Even the best design and best color palette won't look good if they don't match. Think about it when you make an OC ;3
