Had this idea in the middle of the night. I was thinking about my Household family night picture, and how Papyrus didn't really have anyone?? I mean not everyone needs a partner or a kid to be happy, but I feel like he would want it. So, he adopted Hayden.I know adoptions take months or years, so some of this information isn't entirely correct, especially since it's a single monster parent adopting a human child. I'm sure there's some prejudice there somewhere. Papyrus won't be fazed though.
Candara understandably isn't thrilled, she's really close to her uncle and if he had his own child, he wouldn't have time for her, right?
Papyrus manages, because of course he does, and she slowly gets over it and starts being nicer to Hayden. She was never explicitly mean, she mostly just ignored him.
Toriel practically adopted him herself, of course. Frisk is happy. Sans is chill about the whole thing. Now he can be the crazy uncle.
Added a height reference sheet because I wanted to get a general idea of what this crazy family looked like.
Hahaha for all my details, story planning, and character building, I really don't have any story or plot for any of this.

I’m glad! He was fun to initially plan out, can’t wait to develop him further.
Yeah, their start was a little rocky. But Papyrus still hangs out and has training sessions with her, and they live in the same house so it’s not like she never sees him xD when she realizes that Papyrus still loves and has time for her and Eras she calms down.

Yeah true. And I haven’t mentioned Eras much here, but he had similar concerns. He just attempted to be friendly with him when the time came, which helped.
