Hey all, hope some of you remember me! Feels like ages since I've posted last.Anyways, a shot from one of my "I got nothing better to do"-projects...an orc I started after seeing the latest video from World of Warcraft...

It's kind of like a caricature, really. You've taken typical orclike features and accentuated them, so that now it sort of embodies a generic orc. Very nice.

Wow. I really like how you did this. I love the warcraft games and well, this just exemplifies why the orcs are so much better than any of the other races.
I'd like to request some StarCraft-based work if you could make it in your spare time or something. Create a model of Infested Kerrigan, the Queen of Blades, that would make Blizzard employees cry out in envy. We all know you could do it.

Uhm, crit wise, it doesn't look like he has any top teeth. I mean it'd be pretty hard to eat with those big massive bottom teeth and no sign of the top ones. Imagine trying to chew
I also thought orcs to have big massive noses, but I suppose that's all just a matter of preference.
Can't wait to see this fella done

Wow, this is great. Two questions however, first, did you start with NURBS or just box modelling? and the second is, how many lights are you using? ...cause it looks great.

Box-modelling all the way. I despise nurbs (mostly because I suck at them). As for lights, I got two spotlights on the side (a blue and an orange one) and a skylight with radiosity turned on. That's all.

Ears are hell! Hell, I say! I usually get them in the end, but until then, pure HELL! I made this using 3D Studio MAX...only 3D package I've figured out to date....
