A goblin? A Troll? An orc? Nope. It's a Berserk.I wanted to try that face-up for fun on my Cerisedolls Ombre head because of it's animal-ish nose, but in fact its gentle womanly face was quite challenging in terms of giving it some rough looks. But its was fun. I want a body for it now :/

Thank you! The tools for face-up? The usual stuff I guess: pastels, brushes, pencils, a bit of watercolor...

That's very nice, but it seems to me the skin could benefit from a little more depth: meaning the freckles and dots already hint toward some kind of sub-dermal attention, I'd go for some purple-ish or blue-ish veins, especially around the eyes and on the side of her skull.
All around, this is a very nice and detailed job! The lips are positively astonishing, my favorite part of your piece.
A question on the design: Is the mark on the forhead some kind of tribal marking, or rather something she's born with, and if it's the second answer, what is it's function. (My guess would be some kind of third eye.
For exemple, we might be looking at a species similiar to mankind, but that would have retained a vestigial remain from our first ancestors. Many people believe that the "Third Eye" is located in the Pineal Gland, in the back of the human brain, but if your specie's Pineal gland was located under the forhead, making an opening might bring out it's "power". If your curious, google Pineal Eye, you'll see frogs with an actual third eye, which can only sense light, and not images, but that's where you can put some science-fiction juice and say it also sees ghosts, as an example.
