They're just on the edge of the julia - all over the place...
Not too much of a deep zoom either...
Try usin' Triangle Inequality Average from dmj.ucl on your outside coloring tab and see what you get.
Lemme' know if it works, eh?

Well apparently I'm an idiot since I've never tried using the "actual" Phoenix Julia formula. I've always started with the Mandlebrot version and used the switch function to try to get something like this.

Just starting with the actual formula seems to work excellently, thanks for the help.
