(The title doubles as a rabbit pun... GET IT? *slapped*)

SO HAY, April was a pretty bad month for getting anything done on time XD This little number should've been done and posted YESTERDAY, ffffff OTL But my hubby ~ZaneRedrald is awesome and said it was okay to take the extra time to save myself some flailing. I STILL ended up rushing to get it done today... probably the most evident in the background colouring (or maybe it's just me?) So I apologise on getting a bit crazy there. We'll just say the sky is like... MISTY AND OVERCAST. Just go with it XP

But anywho, enough whining (I'll save that for my next journal, which is also overdue >> ). SO GUESS WHO HAS BEEN TOGETHER FOR NINE YEARS OF AWESOMENESS AND FOUR YEARS OF BWESSED MAWADGE~ THESE PEOPLE Just goes to show, with patience, trust and dedication, distance and time are feeble obstacles to love Not gonna lie - long distance relationships are hard and require a good deal of effort (hence, not an undertaking for the impatient or flighty), but the reward is well worth it, if you find that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with (Which I very much have and wouldn't trade it for the world~)

As for the picture, I decided to gift Brandon some Zane/Des'ree, considering my last two (Xmas and Valentine's Day) have been Bradley/Carla Aaaalso, because he recently has been playing with an art style change, hence redesigning/tweaking some of his character. Including Zane here~ So what better way to have my own try at that? Sorry you can't see his own picture of new style Zane to compare (maybe I'll try begging him to post it to dA eventually for you guys) I ASSURE YOU IT'S BETTER THAN MY ATTEMPT HERE, but he likes how I did it just fine, so that's what's important

Brandon did give me some suggestions for how to do Zane's hairstyle (since that gave me a lot of trouble D: It's because in his style, he puts ears on TOP of the heads, whereas I do mine on the side. Hence... my translation of his style into mine can be a bit funky :/) since I asked, so that WILL look different next time I depict it But other than that, he's still his usual UBER DETAILED SELF |D *bricked* Oh Zane, you and your insanely detailed collection of jackets They're badass but DAMN do they ever take forever to draw/colour! *dies* And his whole head/hair is all that colour now (in the past it was part his fur colour/red, but that's one of the tweaks) and a new look for his cheek/peachy muzzle part~ Not too shabby at all :3 (seriously, my hubby has awesome character designing skills. I WILL MAKE HIM SHARE THEM WITH YOU EVENTUALLY! )

And ah, Des'ree LOOKIT DAT SEDUCTIVE LITTLE BUNBUN. All floomping over his MANLY SHOULDERS She wants some of dat >> (IN DUE TIME, DARLING~ *hit*) I seem to enjoy drawing her getting her RAEPFAEC on over Zane quite a bit 8D; (not that we can blame her much, can we? LOOKIT DAT BEEFCAKE And I'm certainly sure Zane isn't complaining xDD GEEZ YOU TWO, GET A ROOM) I also admit to using a screenshot of a pair of characters from a cartoon we both enjoy for this pose/scene |D So there IS some extra personal gesture in this, not just a generic pose But I hope it's enjoyable for all as well.

So yeah... just some loving for my incredible husband for being who he is, both in life and in mine I wish more people could have a partner as amazing, generous, understanding, dedicated, talented, creative, adorable and all around wonderful person as Brandon is to me (yes, that was cheesy~ EAT IT ) I love you soooo much baby! And I can't wait to be with you again... you always make everything so much more brighter by just being there~ Thank you for always making me so happy!
