Description
you grew a garden, and I was your flower
you watered me and loved me as my love for you grew
my love grew as high as the tallest sunflower
as lovely as the reddest rose
but my pale petals couldn't compete to the lush flowers growing next to me
you left me
to wilt, to be taken over by the weeds in my mind
my petals slowly fell to the ground
each passing day I watch you fall in love with another flower
I thought I was your flower
