Description Taken tonight! I did an auto-correct to the color and it turned it white - which it certainly was not. So I auto-contrasted it, which got the desired effect. So, if anyone uses this for a background and is experimenting with colors, just a heads-up.

Is that from your book? I do recall it saying something about human sacrifices at a certain...rock in a field, was it?

Oh, the Stone Triangle! But this chant is H.P. Lovecraft's, from "The Horror At Red Hook"

I shall have to start reading it again - but this philosophy teacher is being really anal and making us study our little brains out and there are constant demands from all sides. Just....

If only I knew. She counts an entire question wrong if one word is misspelled. She is so "matter of fact" in a subject that is so subjective that it makes one wanna throw up from the hypocrisy of it all. Which makes it so frustrating being in her class because I feel like if I make one wrong move or say something that she may not like, she's gonna castrate me with a huge pair of garden shears.

That sounds like a class and a teacher that you should drop, especially if you feel that you bit off more than you can chew (Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology all at once!)...seriously, you can always take that course later, and hopefully from a better instructor!

Well, it's too late to drop classes. Plus, if I pull the plug on that one, that means I'm not fully enrolled and then there goes the financial aid...

I'm just gonna have to trudge through this and hope for the best out-come. Though, a bit wiser, and I'll make sure never to make that same mistake again.

I don't know....people seem to like Buddhism for its "no strings attached" view of life and religion than Hinduism, which many people see a sort of reactionary force.
