Paper Children part two. It's become a deadly obsession now. But god I love it so.I told you the Zidane/FFIX ramble would come later. Well here it is.
Fangirling.
So FFIX was my first Final Fantasy. And since then it's been my absolute favorite. And by god do I ever love monkey boy here. He's freaking adorable and was a great break after VII's and VIII's emo mcangsty pants main characters. Of course, when he did go all emo/crazy, it was for a pretty justified reason and all.
Anyhow, cue Dissidia coming out. WHAT, Zidane (and Kuja to that extent, whom I also love dearly) in next-gen/current-gen graphics? In a fighting game? With voice acting? PAKU ROMI IS DOING ZIDANE'S VOICE??? And then I came. So hard. Seriously. Paku Romi is my absolute favorite voice actress. I've loved her since Ken Ichijouji in Digimon, and of course in Fullmetal Alchemist too. But god... I had wished and hoped and predicted she would do Zidane's voice in Dissidia and somehow, somehow my wish came true! Combining two of my favorite things is just bad for me because now I'm going to do nothing but obsess over it.
OH AND I'M TOTALLY GOING TO COSPLAY ZIDANE'S DISSIDIA OUTFIT SOMETIME NEXT YEAR BECAUSE HE'S GREAT AND HE'S TOTALLY PIMP IN DISSIDIA!

i also started with 9 and it is also my favorite, zidane is so cool. loved every bit of it. also keep it on the hush hush but i got dissidia for my hacked psp, its all in Japanease though so i cant read it

Not only pipsqueak characters, but I find she always plays child geniuses (Ed Elric, Ken Ichijouji, Hitsugaya). But damn does she suit them well.

I always play other people's games and my brother dislikes IX so... I guess I shall never get a chance unless I happen to randomly get it.

For the Dissidia thing, I was in front of a horrible dilemma...
Buy a Psp for this game (only for the good reason that Zidane and Kuja will be in, and with voices!)
Or buy a DS for 358/2 Days (Akuroku is my current obssession XD), and this was my choice.
Square-Enix is so cruel with their fan T_T

Ohhh yay! A fellow IX fan! It brings back a lot of good memories for me as well. I think the music is just fantastic. It's so beautiful and conjures up such strong memories of the game. I love the time period/setting the game is set in as well. I wish I could live there.
I'll be happy if I cosplay Zidane. I really want to do it and not let it slide back on my growing list of cosplays.
Who knows when either of them are being released outside of Japan though? I'm getting them both though, no matter what.

Unfortunatly, I don't know.
I just hope that the voices will be in english, subtitle in french( for 358/2 days). Because the french voices are not so good...
