Beautiful job, as always!

Only bad part of going to airbrush is the lovely job you can do handpainting goes kinda to heck, which is a bummer. I've tried to go back and do some brushing after and it just seems so wrong afterwords. On the plus side, the airbrush makes it all look so beautiful and can use so much less paint. Well, sometimes. Stupid me and the failure to properly thin the paint. I had a wee bit of a outsmarting by the airbrush last week and it has thrown me off track. Damn smart button pushing devices.

Got off track. Beautiful job, again!

Thank you Clem!!!
Oh...I'm so worried about work with airbrush.....I'll do a lot of training before starts on a new kit....That thin-paint-stuff gives me creeps

It's not too hard, I just tried something new with a metallic paint that the airbrush bottle I was using didn't like. It turns out the bottle was the problem, not the paint, but I had diluted the hell out of the Steel color thinking it was the paint. Switched bottles and it worked fine, just too fine as the paint was thin as water. Definitely another one for my bonehead move collection.

Wow, you did that with a hand-brush? How'd you get the paintwork so smooth?

Brilliant stuff.

Thank you!
In fact I have to thin the paint...and apply a lot of layers....

Damn, I don't know if I'd have the patience for that...
..Still, I'll have to keep it in mind for next time I do a model.

Don't thank me, I should be thanking you for hsaring it with us.

Just curious. Do you use brushes, an airbrush or both?

Yeah. An airbrush makes life easier, once you get the hang of it.

The key is to have fun with it. Keep up the good work.
