Nice work! How hard was it to splice the heads onto the other bodies? I've been thinking of splicing Nilin's head (Remember Me) onto Ashley Williams' body (Mass Effect 3). Is one program easier to facilitate this?

I only use XPS to pose the scene, and later use my Photoshop Elements 12 program to complete the post-edit. Using the XPS program, I select the "Options" tab and on the menu that drops down from it at the bottom is "make items optional", by selecting that it enables a list of all the body parts separately that make up that model, by unchecking them off that list it causes those unchecked parts to disappear off the displayed model-(like removing just the head & hair but leave the rest of the body & costume intact). You then have a headless body to place a new head on. I use the same technique then to remove the body only of the new character's head I want to use. In other words, I use this procedure to remove the head on the character whose head I want to replace, and then remove the body-(but leave the head) of the new character whose head I want to use. Generally these character models are all made to the same scale-(1.0) on the size indicator in the XPS program, but not always. You may have to adjust the new head's size, say .85 or 1.2 for example, rather than 1.0. One way is to line up the neck size on the headless body model with the neck size on the new head model, but this doesn't always work completely, sometimes you just have to fiddle with it a bit to get the new head's size to look just right. After I get the new head in position and the correct size in XPS, I use Windows Snipping tool-(a screen-capture program that comes with Windows), to take a 2D "snapshot" of the posed XPS scene, as it's dislayed on my monitor screen. My pics are close to the full monitor screen resolution-(1920 x 1080). I take that saved picture-(usually in jpeg format), and import it into my PE12 program, where I do the post-edit on the whole picture-(adjust body parts, adjust colors, brightness, skin-tone, etc). After completing that I then post the edited pic/scene here on DA. So basically I just use 2 programs, XPS and the PE12 program. Hope this explains things!!!

Wow! That was really detailed! Still learning the ropes of all this stuff. Mainly started it to create my own wallpapers (and illustrations for my fanfics). Thanks!
