She is young. Certainly too young to be a mother.
Too young to do the things she's done.
Not officially lesbian, she never really hung around guys. When she practiced kissing, she did it with her girlfriends. So, yes, I guess one would say she swings that way.
But there was one.
One boy who she let into her life.
She didn't know why but there was something special about him. He wasn't like the other boys, who only wanted one thing from her. He was different.
They began to meet often after school, between classes, and sometimes would even sneak out during class to see each other.
It wasn't long before they couldn't hide their relationship anymore. Much to the surprise of her friends and classmates of course; she was dating a boy.
Her days were honey while she was with him. Everyday she'd wake up and smile at his picture sitting by her bedside and immediately call him.
He started getting more intimate with her as time progressed. It felt weird for her to be touched in those places and yet right somehow. She held off as long as she could until it was hard to resist. The night came when they finally went all the way.
Strange things began to happen to her after that. She had never thrown up that many times in a week before. Her body ached in many places and everything was sore. But most noticeable of all, she began to get bigger.
Her parents took her to the doctor and that's when she learned the news. She called him up.

He's gone now. He won't return her calls, won't talk to her at school, and doesn't seem to acknowledge the fact she ever existed. Her parents fight and yell to each other about what to do, but she doesn't seem to care. All that really mattered was him. But he's gone now.
Everything was different for her. No one wanted to hang out anymore. Strangers gave her dirty looks in public. It was getting harder to walk without looking stupid because of her immense size.
But she never cried. Not one tear.

He took so much away from her. But he also gave her much. He gave her a means to mature and to look at life a little differently. He gave her an outlook on life that she never knew before. He gave her triplets.

As she ran her fingers across the tight skin of her round belly she felt the gentle response from her children within. What mattered now was the new life growing inside of her and how helpless it was without her. It needed nourishment, and she knew she had to do everything in her power to make sure they got it.

"It's going to be ok." she said.
