(The first part is just gona be a lot of ranting ) I gotta say, this has been one of the toughest drawing I've done, and that includes the FRIENDS drawing. The amount of detail on the dress is just crazy! I had to improvise some parts because the reference wasn't sharp enough. I think i did okay in bringing out the shininess of the dress. But that's not the hardest part. The hardest part is the veil. I was scratching my head when I got to it because translucent materials are just OMG-KILL-ME-NOW-hard-to-draw. Don't think I drew it very well While drawing the hair with an eraser, somehow, only by holding the crudely-cut piece of eraser in an awkward manner that i was able to get clean, thin lines. Should really get myself one of those eraser-pencil thing.

Some things i dont like about the drawing (im not good with critique but i try )
-The red is a tad too bright. It should be more pink and have more shadow.
-Some part of the hair is very messy and not all that realistic
-The shading of the cloth that she's resting on has some very uneven areas.
-The shading of the arm is a bit off. A lot of minor discrepancies add up, making it look kinda weird.

As much as I complained about all the difficult things that I had to do, I actually enjoyed the drawing process a lot I like bringing out subtle details like the shine on her nostril or the sparkle on her ring or the tiny strand of hair in the shadow

I love Avril's facial features. Her nose, eyes and lips are really unique. Absolutely gorgeous! She has a really nice smile too. Okay, this may be weird but I think she has very cute teeth (not shown here)
