I did yet another age meme. I'm trying to do all of my characters.

Age 3: When Derek is three, his mother loses custody of him. He goes to live with his mother's brother Carlos. Derek doesn't know who his dad is, so he can't go to him. Carlos is only 19 when he volunteers to take care of baby Derek.

Age 5(not shown): When Derek is 5, he meets his best friend Izayah in school.

Age 14: When Derek is 14, he joins the swim team and is an absolute book worm. He is still really close to Izayah. They practically don't leave each others' side.

Age 16(not shown): When Derek is 16, his friends with benefits relationship with Izayah begins.(There's a full story behind that that I will put up at some time.)

Age 18: Derek and Izayah separate a bit. Derek is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend Stacey.

*Derek doesn't have a set future yet. This is just an option.*

Age 22(not shown): Derek's child with Stacey is born. Shortly after, the two break up and Derek gets custody of their daughter Chelsea.

Age 23(not shown): After coming out of a depression about his breakup, Derek realizes he's always loved his best friend. He gets together with Izayah and finds happiness again.

Age 25: Derek with his new happy family.
