I not too concerned about the shadow - it isn't that distracting, simply an honest element of the scene and nothing more. What really grabbed my attention were the strong colours present - especially the deep blue of the sky.

Colours are absolutely beautiful. The angle is a little too low for me (would have been great if it was at least level with the chair) and the shadow of the tree is a little distracting but still it looks good.

Oh yeah.. I love these wonderfull colors! . Nice composition.. I'm only not sure about the shadow of the three... but it's ok.

What lens did you used for this shot? Just wondering .

hey man..how are you these day, where have you been?

I used 17-40 L canon lens for this shot..I bought it because people praise about its sharpness, contrast and colours and as you can see it does all the trick

I increase the contrast slightly in ps tho, but the original not far from this

I thought it was the 17-40L lens ... Not that I have one... Too expensive.... . I'm about to buy the Tamron 28-75 F2.8... but that's a total different lens....

Where have I been? Usual stuff... School enc ... Now I'm back on DA .

I know..it is the cheapest L lens but still expensive

that is a cool choice for street photo. for what I read in the review [link] age=1 that is a good lens, and I'm sure you're going to take a lot of good photo with it. show me the result when you already have it...

I would agree with the previous comment on the shadow. It really does take away from the great colors you captured here. I could picture one of my brothers sitting there with a beer at one of our cookouts with the family sharing old tired storied.
