Ah the good old Miranda-Class, the Ford truck of starships.  Always been of my favourites.

Really?  I think of it more as the Chevy Impala.  It's stylish and versatile, but a bit of a lightweight.

She's reliable and rugged, goes just about anywhere and does just about everything, and has been around for ages
