It is said this lifeIs just a dream
That everyone will someday
Wake to find
They aren’t what they seem.
They say it’s like heaven there
Or perhaps just something new
But I would sleep for a thousand years
If I could share those years with you.
The sun may freeze
And the stars may fall
But I will stand there through it all
And I will bare my shoulders against the skies
All for the love within your eyes.
I think every soul moves to a tune,
That weaves it through the tapestry
And when we end, and the cloth unravels
Next to you is where I’ll be.

And I will take up arms against the time that’s left
Because it is you who gives me breath.

your poem has a lot of meaning. i've never really read a guy written poem before, but yours was really good. i like how there is a guy who can express his feelings in poetry. its nice.
