It might had nothing to do with the books, but gods, was The Black Cauldron one of my favorite Disney movies as a kid. This bad-ass fellow was one of the reasons why.

hehe, this drawing was originally a member of the Night's Watch from game of thrones, and I hated it. The face was just an old man and it didn't work. I happened to be going through a file of reference pics of "things you should draw someday" and the Horned King was in there, happy i could save the stuff that worked!
