And maybe spill some thoughts.

Are you guys a little bored from all the refs I've been doing?

I kinda believe you are since I've been posting so many of them since they're the only things I have time for when my family wanna do all these things in Beijing. And it doesn't help even in the hospital where I have had a IV stuck in my palm so it hurts when I put so much pressure on it. (That's how I get my saturation on my pieces) so my pen and pencil sketchbook has been filled with doodles. And upon this I doodled a Maia piece.

And I realize that. Omg I missed doing this. I missed drawing fairies, elves, mermaids and all that fantasy stuff. The main reason I stopped was because it was characterized as really girly and very childish. And seeing as I don't like stereotypes I stopped that and abandoned that.

And then got into StoryMode, a less girly approach. And then the Origin Cast where you see Mint, Kei, BB and all these other Babs
Then came shipping ocs
Then came Candy-Jarr
Then you get me figuring my persona out.

All~ while I fly to Beijing, get a nose tumor removal and while 2017 flies over my head.

I love Maia and I see her as a quiet, serious, rouge elf mage that BB grew up with and learned magic from. I see her living very long for at least hundreds of years and I love that. Because she is a reminisce of a gal who loved fairies, elves and still loved fantasy.

Maybe I'll get back with drawing StoryMode stuff as I haven't really shown much passion into that fandom since the Hollow Girl submission and since S2 started. I haven't been able to watch any play throughs of Ep 2 since Beijing 2G data sucks and as Mill said some content from YouTube isn't allowed here. So mainly YouTube has been blocked off from me and I just been inferring what happens through the fan art of Ep 2 on IG and DA.

I miss drawing Jesse.

The simplicity of her character is fun to play with in my mind and I love Petra as well but her design isn't really fun to doodle.

Lukas. Lukas is cute.

Olivia's really nice since her design comes up fluidly.

Axel is fun because body shape is always a good experiment. I love the bulky characters in MCSM since it gives body diversity and I don't draw muscles that often. So it's fun.

Bleh Stella.

Not really liking her style. Too stiff.

I've been enjoying helping everyone in the IG chat perfect their ocs for Candy-Jarr and I found out I have a natural knack with making other people's back stories.

Back to Maia. I find that most people don't favor the pen as their first choice for doodling but it helps practice with pressure. Art from ink mainly consists of pressure. And I find it so relaxing when I shade with it and then go over with marker after copy printing at my parent’s computer shop.

It's also good practice since my lack of control over pressure is the reason why I use a 6H pencil for thumbnails in many of my pieces and hafta press so hard to cover up the dents. ;v; I press really hard and damage my paper easily and I hate myself for doing that.

What else?

Oh yeah. My great-grandauntie knows this bakery where they make really good cake and sent me a cheesecake while I was in surgery. She also sent a chocolate cake but it went bad after sitting in the mini-fridge for a week. ;_; I couldn't eat it because I didn't know... But the cheesecake lifted my spirits really well.

Also back to the pen doodle I actually used a Kate Spade gold sprayed pen that my friend Parrot shoplifted since a pack of 12 costed $30... ÓvÒ;; he gave me two and they work like average pens just feels more fancy to doodle with... (Shoplifting is bad but hey they're PENS. PENS. NOT FOUNTAIN PENS. LITERALLY BALLPOINT PENS.) Still I like them just not how I got them... -v-;;

I mainly made this so I can rant about my brain and how not having Wattpad sucks. And Devon will attack me if I use his Journal Space again... I swear he's a good dog just slightly possessive...
