“John, we need to have a conversation about your team working skills.” Addie calmly sat on her employee’s tape dispenser.

“What do you mean, Addie?”

“As you know, control of your innate ability to manipulate matter when upset has been on your individual development plan. You have done great work, but when you dropped your microwave pizza you accidentally shrunk three employees, including myself. We need to think about what the next steps are.” John’s face sunk and Addie’s eyes widened. With arms raised she backpedaled, “You were the one who set this goal.”

John nodded and smiled slightly. “First I’m sorry for your change in size. I just wish I could control this ability directly. I would restore you if I could. Maybe I could find a trainer and attend their classes one day a week.”

“That sounds like a noble goal. Could you, uh, help me get back to my desk?”

“Sure…one more thing, what do you know about this email from the office manager about seeking ways to reduce square footage of the office? They are asking for my ideas.”

Addie shuddered, “Lets ignore that one. The others will likely accept smaller offices before having their height taken away…”
