WHUAHAHAHAA!Got it ready.... not that it would have been hard to paint or anything, but the file was scanned too big and the computer kept on crashing.
Khandir Sa'Regon, future King of Scionsce. ...or he shouldn't be the king, but he will be. His brother, Kharagath was the heir, but Khandir researched some laws of his land and discovered a way to become king himself.
What a wicked man.

Watercolours and some stuff. Yup. It was fun to make. Enjoy?

This is just ... so beautiful. I love the softness of the color scheme and the delicacy of the details on the character. For me, the photographic background detracts from it a smidge, but it almost creates a feel that the real world is melting away, especially with the trails of gold spots. They feel like fire embers to me. And I envy that hand.

Cool! Just plain and simply cool...Sorry that I have nothing else to say. Great work as always. Clothes are unique as always according to your style and the bird-like creature is cute (even with multiple eyes, if I didn´t see wrong).

*Why* doesn't this have, like, a million favorites?! *pokes people* This is genius! Aside from what's been said on the piece's flaws (most of which could be considered intentional for purposes of ambient aesthetics, if you wanted *winks*), the *skill* of the watercolor work blows my mind! Just-- wow. Though I do concur on the idea that making the halo more transparent would definitely separate the head more. But what's done is done, and it's been done *incredibly* well.
It's all about the monacle. *thumbs up* You rock!

That background is just awesome. The spots and dark arches and then the light from the windows in the bottom... *is amazed* It makes the whole picture very balanced, but still vivid. Also giving space to the character so it really looks like he is floating very high in the air.
The 'saint'-thingie around his head however... It's so icon-like and static and jumps out of the picture in a way that it grabs all attention at first. I love the idea, but keep on wondering what the picture would look like if the 'halo' was somehow transparent or otherwise not so much attention-grabbing.

I lose her (his?) head in the halo, more contrast would really do well for this picture in many areas. I also don't know what you intended with the blotches in the background.. The perfectly vertical one to the left of the head throws the other splotches and the flow of the picture off. Also, you're looking at this figure straight on which means Khandar is waving you off at some 45 to 60 degree angle based on the church's perspective. The clothes, the hair, the birdy thinger, would not be standing the way they do if they existed within this place. It's a great picture though, I think I may fav it.

The Gold blotches are just.. uhh.. gold blotches. xD Nothing grander. I'm just such a lame-o that I couldn't come up with a better thing to fill out the background.
I agree with the halo, but I quite didn't figure out how would I make more contrast on it, should I maybe darken his hair a little? Or the halo?
And he kinda floats... I don't know how this would affect the angle, but he doesn't stand, but floats. I sooo suck at angels! xD Whee! Look at me gooo!
I'm so glad that some one pointed me out the mistakes I did, because I knew something was very wrong, but people just kept telling me it's great. ^^

I don't know why, but this seems like a whole new technical level for you. This is very tight and clean, but still with that natural media warmth to it. Amazing texture on the clothing and hair for the figure (the latter of which doesn't have a generic anime look or feel at all). Very, very well done. :clapclap:

I really love the way you coloured hair here, it's so detailed and full of diffrent colours. The watercolour effects on the photo make it fit the character better but still it's a bit weird mix of mediums. The clothes look elegant and the metallic ornamets look really realistic. Most of all I like the way things glow in this, it has that blinding light effect that you experience when walking from a dark room to the daylight.
