Description This is one of the first 3D illustrations I ever did, created a long time ago in the year 2000. I had no idea what I was doing back then and only had very basic software. It took me weeks to finish!

It was for the cover of a book called Deadly by Morris Gleitzman and Paul Jennings.

Please respect my copyright, thanks.

Thenk yow shuffie It did take ages, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggeeesssss! that is indeed cool! I've done loads of book covers for Penguin Australia, Paul Jennings books especially. In fact I've just finished doing a load for them and I was working through the night and sleeping during the day and I became Australian! I DID!

ewwwww!!!!!
spider spider spider spider spider!!!!!!
+__+ I do not like spiders at all. I walked up the stairs today and looked to the side to see a big one at about eye level with me on the wall.
I freaked an ran up the stairs and everyone came running.

I'm a bit like that with big moths. One night there was this huge moth in mah bedroom, it was as big as an open paperback and I could see its evil furry face! It flew around for a bit and then crawled into mah jeans' pocket. Luckily it was gone in the morning.

Still unsettling.

AND INTERESTING TO TRY AND COUNT THEM AND BE ALL " THERE'S ANOTHER ONE I DIDN'T SEE BEFORE! *rolls eyes*"

I think, that you should go to next year's comic con, and take some prints and and and do sketches!

boblea In reply to KakashiStyleRamen [2009-07-20 13:31:37 +0000 UTC]

I can understand that. I myself am particularly nervous of big moths whether real or otherwise.

Haha! Stop counting them Amy! lol

Oh you do you?

KakashiStyleRamen In reply to boblea [2009-07-20 17:39:49 +0000 UTC]

D: We have a big window, so moths come in all the time! Do you have to catch them in HUGE bowls, cause you're so scared? D:

Okay! I wasn't having much success anyways.

I'll interpret that as "Oh, you do, do you?" and respond with a yes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

boblea In reply to KakashiStyleRamen [2009-07-20 18:28:23 +0000 UTC]

No, I used to get Colleen to catch them with her hands, she doesn't mind them at all! I'm much better with them these days and I can catch them too ^_^

You could have sent yourself mad counting them thar bugs!

I've been leaving whole words out of sentences lately, you interpreted it totally 100% correctly. But I'm not much of a joiner-inner so I probably wouldn't go. I'm quite shy rilly.

You made your wife catch moths? You big pansy! *rolls eyes*

I can't imagine how much more mad it drove you toning and all that jazz for EVERY bug.

You're going senile, Bibbity. Aw, a loner too? D: Them places can get preeeetty scary unless someone joins in with you.

boblea In reply to KakashiStyleRamen [2009-07-21 23:31:43 +0000 UTC]

She likes catching moths! I'm only talking about the huge moths with a face and pugnacious personality. I catch them mahself these days so nuh! Anyways I've saved Colleen from other things like a rampaging ram for example. Ah am brave! *looks brave*

It was terrible I tell you, terrible! It did send me mad quite lidderally.

I've gone senile and come back again Yip, you a loner? Them places make me panic

KakashiStyleRamen In reply to boblea [2009-07-21 23:46:10 +0000 UTC]

"A catch moffs for a hobbeh, innit!"
Moths with faces? <.< I thought they all had faces?
Are you joking about the ram thing? <.<;; 'cause the whole looking brave thing isn't convincing meh. D:

Sure you weren't mad before, seeing as you actually put yourself through it?

XD Like.. Benjamin Button. No, wait. Ah, F. Scott Fitzgerald, I love him but sometimes I want to slap him in the face.
I am. But I'm loud when I'm nervous... <.<;; Oh yeah, you mentioned it before! >.< D: Scary.

boblea In reply to KakashiStyleRamen [2009-07-22 00:08:55 +0000 UTC]

Hehe! Sweet!

No I mean faces with proper expressions on them. Expressions of hate and violence. And furry little mouths that silently tell you they're gonna get you!

Some years agao, when we were earning loadsa money, we had a uge converted barn with a couple of acres of paddock so we kept a few sheep. One year we had half a dozen different kinds of ewe and one black welsh mountain ram. The ram became more and more aggressive and one day smashed his way through the fence when me and Colleen were walking past. He wasn't particularly big but very strong and aggressive. I told Colleen to run for the house while I sorted him out and got him back into the paddock. He was like a ninja ram!

Hmm, you got a good point. Maybe I unmadded myself by doing it!

Grrrrr... that F. Scott Fitzgerald. Haha! Do you go all shrieky? I usually go dead quiet. Or make a totally inappropriate joke. Tis scary. I'm going to sleep now. G'night Amy! ^_^

<< (I imagined something like that on a moth's body... *shudders*) See, we've previously been talking about this madness of yours, are you positively sure it's not been telling you the moths are talking to you, and coming to get you?

*just imagined a farmer Bob being all heroic, with his trousers tucked into his socks, and wooly jumpers and wellies* "GET TO DAH CHOPPAH-- I mean HOUSE!"
Hehe, that's so cool! Why was he getting aggressive though? Was there not enough space for his ninja activities

Not shrieky, just... babble, and don't think about what I'm saying, and get louder and louder until it hurts my ears when things are quiet. .__.
Hahaa, like, make a joke and then everyone just stays silent and looks at you like or ? I hate it when that happens.

Okay! Night night! Sleep well x

yes there is. theres plenty room inside me. seriously. there was a spider in our bathroom last night. i called my mom and told her to remove it from me and she did. she took a piece of toilet paper and mashed the ghastly lil creature and then as she was walking the two steps it took her to get to the sink with bin underneath it she accidentally made a move with her hand so that mashed spider in the toilet paper got pretty close to my face... i really didnt mean to but i freaked and pushed her arm away. i cant help it. i panick if a spider gets close to me. even when its dead. and she used to scare me with the mashed ones in the paper when i was younger. tried to get me over my arachnophobia. (note to parents worldwide: it only makes things worse)
